It’s been awhile since I’ve dusted off this blog—but believe me, it wasn’t by choice. I’ve been down with a mean virus the last week or so, but feeling back to normal and catching up on my bloglines, whoo!

Site Launch - The Alaska Blog

I couldn’t be more excited to announce this launch, it’s a site that my partner and I have been planning for sometime now, The Alaska Blog.
The purpose of the site will be for us to share our experiences and adventures living here. I can’t tell you how many times I am asked about Alaska life, and truthfully, I never grow tired of telling the story, it’s good good fun bragging about the place I am so proud to call home. What better way to share with the world than a blog?

I will be participating in the Blogathon 2005 to benefit Four A’s (Alaskan Aids Assistance Association). There are several ways you can support me in this event (not all of them require your hard-earned $$$ moolah even!) and they are as follows:
1. You can sponsor me! Pledges for donations are accepted on the Blogathon website, located here: http://www.blogathon.org/blogathon.php?campaign&id=166
If you notify me of your donation pledge, and if you should so want, I will list your name or link on my website during the event for a minimum donation of $5.
If you’re a business, I will put a logo graphic linking to your website for a minimum donation of $100. The logo will appear on the sidebar during the event, and moved to a “Blogathon Sponsors” page for a period of three months after
